TEARS events provide education and awareness surrounding the topic of suicide in hopes of reducing the stigma and encouraging conversation.
In loving memory of those we’ve lost to suicide, we offer this sacred space as a sanctuary for remembrance, healing, and support. Our Memory Wall stands as a testament to the enduring love and cherished memories we hold dear.
Every donation to TEARS directly supports out mission and vision.
Create Hope.
Build Strength.
End Suicide.
We believe that education and support are the corner stores of this endeavor. Through our educational events, we provide individuals the knowledge and tools needed to foster resilience within themselves and their communities.
Additionally, our monthly Healing TEARS support group provides a safe haven for those navigating grief due to a loss by suicide. Participants share experiences and build a network of support to promote healing.
Our TEARS Comfort Kits are distributed to those who have experiences a suicide loss. These Comfort Kits offer support and provide a way to remember their loved ones.
Proceeds will support our TEARS programming
Apex will also customize your clothing item and add your loved one’s name on your item
“Honestly, without TEARS, I would not be here today. Everyone in the TEARS family has helped me through each day and each moment so that I wouldn’t have to be going down this road alone. Everyone, even when we feel that we are the strong ones to be there for those in need of help. TEARS makes the pain just a bit more manageable than the day before.”
-Tina
“When I was able to connect with the TEARS suicide survivor group and attend my first meeting two months after my son’s death, I still had a feeling of begin adrift in the ocean, but now I had others in the boat with me that could somewhat understand what I was going through in this life changing event. At the monthly TEARS meetings, we were open to share with each other ways to cope, and celebrate our memories, and positive days we had with our loss of family member or friend. For me prayer was a big factor in getting by, day after day. Not only our own prayers to God, but all the prayers being said for us suicide survivor from others, many we don’t even know. “

“When I think of TEARS, I don’t think of a traditional support group. It’s more like a second family, who grieve my loss with me. Although we all grieve differently, the group has shown me that there are healthy ways to get through the hardest days. This is why I’m thankful for the TEARS group and their monthly meetings.”

“The TEARS group has helped me so much, it is very comfortable and a safe place to learn, and support others that understand exactly what we are going through, we laugh, we cry, we listen, and we vent. I love this TEARS family.”
-Sincerely, Wendy
